How time flies, my Xuan is no longer a baby anymore. He is 28 months. I really wish that time doesn’t tick so fast so that I can enjoy more of his baby/toddler years. In this stage, I found that he really know lot of new things. Everyday there will be new thing happening around me.

Speech
~ He can talk quite well.
~ He likes to sing especially Barney theme song and he will come over to hug and kiss us when he hear the song playing.
~ When he hear our conversation about what to eat, he will immediately tell us that he want McDonald’s.
~ He likes to ask, Mummy,what the matters?
~ He can count 1 to 10 and sometimes he will eat the number 6.

Memory
~ He can recognised the way back to my in law house.
~ He wills repeating asking the same question some sort of reminding us.
~ He knows how to operate the DVD and that really make me headache.

Food
~ He drinks milk twice at babysitter’s house.
~ He had two meals per day, sometimes he takes porridge in the morning and rice in the evening.
~ He likes to eat bread too. All breads he will called it as “Kaya Min Boa”. Even this also he called as “Kaya Min Boa”.

Time flies really fast with each passing day. My little darling is 23 months now. He’s going to turn 2 in a month time. How I wish that time doesn't tick so fast so that I can treasure his toddler years more.

At this stage he knows quite a number of things and words too.

* He knows where are his eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hands, legs and hair in English, Mandarin and yet to try in Cantonese.
* He knows how to called his nanny’s son name (which I need to correct him by saying called “Kor Kor”).
* He will ask where is uncle, auntie, jie jie and lor kor every now and then
* Will say “chor” (sit) when he wants to sit.
* When he is lazy to walk, he will say “Poa” (carry).
* Potty trained successfully at this stage during daytime.
* He likes Thomas & Friends and Pocoyo the most (he called Pocoyo as Elly).
* An ardent fan of Moses Chan a.k.a AH KAR (Moonlight Resonance).

How time flies, my little boy is 21 months. I noticed that he knows quite a number of words and understand my instructions very well too (the most important… hahaha).

Some updates on his development.

* He knows how to call me Mummy or Me Me very clearly after a long wait.
* He will tell me “Bor Bor” when the show ends.
* When I tell him “wash your buttock” (in hokkien), he will squat down immediately.
* He will hug and kiss us whenever ask him to do so. Sometime he will kiss us without asking! It really melts our hearts.
* Will ask for his “Kut Kut” (water).
* He will bring his writing board to me and ask me to draw an Apple and Ball for him.
* He has good eyesight.

I found that my little Xuan is growing up rapidly each passing days. I must feel content cos Xuan is behaving quite well. After fetching him from babysitter and I put him in the living area and letting him to explore all by himself, so that I can do some light house chores like putting the clothes into washing machine and getting ready his stuff.

He’s going to turn 20 months in a week time and these are his developments as far as I know…

* Mix languages, he understands Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Hakka.

* He knows how to called Pa Pa, Po Po, Pak Pak and Jie Jie very clearly. He also know how to called mummy (depends on his mood) when hubby asked him give me something.

* Will help me to put his dirty clothes into his bin.

* After the powder incident he rarely goes into the kitchen, I think he has a good memory.

* He is quite friendly after a warm-up.

* He started to choose and pick his clothing.

* Pacifier, he loves it very much. I think it is difficult to wean him off.

* He can only take 6oz to 7oz of milk. He still wants his milk in the middle of the night.

* More teeth are erupting now.

* He attached to me more than my hubby and sometimes it really makes no room for me to breathe.

* When scolding him, he will show his pity face and pretending to cry by coming over to you to "sayang" him. He is a cheeky boy!
