I make a call to De One Studio today asking about Xuan’s pictures whether it is ready for collection. When they told me I could collect it anytime at Mid Valley today. It makes my heart so eager to see the pictures. What makes me so eager? Its just because, this is Xuan first time taking pictures by a professional photographer. I am very very satisfied with the outcome, no doubt Xuan is not smiling and with his cool look; to me it is something unusual. Hahaha…

While we were lying on the bed and my hubby accidentally hit my body; I pretending I am crying and my hubby ask Xuan to ‘sayang me. Xuan come over to me and kiss me and out of a sudden he wack his daddy for me. It makes me extremely happy and showed that he love and care for me. Of course, I do tell him cannot wack his daddy.

Finally, this day has arrived. I made Xuan to have his first ever pictures taken by a professional photographer which was organized by Mamy Poko with every purchased of RM80.00 and above. While we are waiting, I have some conversations with the photographer.

Myself : Is it compulsory to wear the outfits provided by you?
Photographer : Not necessary. There are quite a number of outfits you can choose for him. Why not put him with the "Prince Theme"?

Myself : Ok, I’ll see it later.

We waited for a while and when is Xuan turn, I ask him the following:

Myself : Xuan, you want to put on that oufits?
Xuan : Shake his head.

The photographer keeps showing more outfits and Xuan keep on shaking his head. So, Xuan end up with his own outfit. Xuan is cooperative by sitting on the artificial rock. He doesn’t show any smiling face with his cool look. The photos will be ready in one week time.

Today marked my 34th birthday. My hubby takes leave on this day just to celebrate with me together with Xuan. I received a long distant call from Mery and Su Ying respectively, messages from all my dear friends and not to forgets a present from Ling. She really don’t buy me cake but she bought me a Famous Amos cookies, she really “Hak Hei”. I am so happy to hear from Ling that she put on weight, 2kg and makes her not so skinny and she know the gender of her baby too, is a girl. I also receive an "Ang Pow" from my colleagues, Auntie Poly!

In the afternoon, my hubby come and fetches me together with my little darling Xuan. We headed to Bukit Tinggi, Klang. We have our lunch at Delifrance and as for Xuan he has his porridge. After finish with our lunch we walk around and of course not to miss my favorite shop, ESPRIT. I managed to grab 2 pieces of baju and since Xuan is sleepy we decided to go home. As planned earlier that we will be having our dinner at THE SHIP, unfortunately we can’t make it cos we over slept. The dinner will be postponed to another day!

This ladybird recalls my childhood life. When I was a small kid, my parents used to buy me Ladybird’s brand attire. The t-shirt is very colorful with strips. After the recession in 1997, I don’t have much of the attire due the economic downpours. I still remember when my 12th Birthday, my parents hold a small birthday’s party for me. We only invite the neighbor’s children. On that day I am wearing a yellow and aqua colors strips t-shirt together with an aqua color bermuda and I got my first ring from my father; till today I still wear it on my finger no doubts it is too small to wear it on my middle finger. I wore it on my ring finger together with my wedding ring.

I am trying very hard to snap a good picture on Xuan cos this baju was bought to him by his “TAI PAK LEONG” on last week. As promise to his Jie Jie, I will snap his photo when I put it on for him. I have to trick him by giving him some “mum mum” to hold in order to snap good picture.

I found that I am so forgetful ever since I gave birth to Xuan. I am not blaming on Xuan cos my colleagues also told me that once you gave birth; the memory is not as good as before. Why do I say I am forgetful? I bought this piece of t-shirt for Xuan during Chinese New Year, only now I remember that I haven't put it on for him. It has been lying on his chest for 1/2 year and I still complaining that he doesn't enough baju to wear. Luckily the cutting is big enough to fit him cos the size is for 12-18 months.

Time flies really fast, Xuan is 19 months. I still recalled the first day he is in my arm as a little baby and now he is growing up as a little toddler! As mothers, we are happy to witness our kids growing up each passing day with love, care, happiness and most of all healthily. Raising kids is not as easy as in the older days. We cannot compare them with the past generation. Of course we do hope that we can give them the best! So, mummy out there fingers and toes crossed that we will make it! Keep it up and tomorrow will be a better day for us, mummy! Anyhow it is an abundant of joy!!

This was the 3rd time Xuan having his haircut together with his daddy yesterday. I am a bit afraid that he doesn’t co-operate with the hairstylist. His daddy was seated and we were seated at the long sofa.

Myself : Darling, want to “cin cin” (cut) your hair by performing my fingers on his hair.
Xuan : Nod his head.
Myself : Kor Kor cin cin you hair, ok arh?
Xuan : Nod his head again and again.

Without giving a second thought, I carry Xuan to the hairstylist and ask him to cut as fast as possible. Xuan is 100% co-operate with the hairstylist. I hold on his chin so that he won’t move that much. After a while, he seems to uneasy due to the hair poke him by making some noise and turning here and there. I try to tell him, a bit more to go; after finish Kor Kor will give you sweet sweet. True enough the hairstylist went to get some sweet for him to hold in his hands. After all he is cooperating very well. Even the hairstylist told the cashier that Xuan is a big boy and very well co-operative. This time I will give Xuan 8/10 so that there will be some space for him to improve. Here comes his new look...

After sending Xuan to babysitter and I am going to have breakfast together with my hubby. After having our breakfast, we went to buy some food for my lunch cos today I will be having my facial appointment. While we are walking to take our car, we have some conversations:

Myself : What are the thing belongs to me?
Hubby : My whole body is belongs to you.
Myself : I don’t want.
Hubby : Type a credit note.
Myself : Ya lor… ask your mum to give me a credit note.

Both of us are smiling and there we off to work!

Father’s day is just 2 days away. What have you plan for your hubby? As for me, I planned to get him a shirt on behalf of Xuan. Before I get him a shirt, I would like to dedicate this picture to him. In this picture, Xuan is sucking his pacifier with the wordings “PAPA IS THE BEST. I am sure my hubby will be very happy when he see this post.

It is very difficult to snap a good picture together with Xuan. Sometime I have to act rough in order to carry him and snap it as fast as possible.

Why am I ignoring Xuan? I make him go away cos he doesn’t allowed me to carry him and take picture together. He looks a bit sad in this picture but I like this picture very much cos he showed his sad face. I really don’t know why I like to make him cry and “sayang" him later. My hubby always says I am abnormal by doing this to his son wor… I just ignore him and I feel the joy and happiness when Xuan wants me to “sayang” him again.

This batch of pictures was taken on May 25, 2008 after we came back from Queen’s Park Mall in Cheras. I love this batch of pictures very much. I can capture his unusual pose e.g. the 2nd picture – he seem like giving an instruction for the orchestra and the last picture – he is covering his face with his hand like something is frighten him. From the pictures, he looks so chubby; sometime I really cannot stand not to pinch his “char siew poa”.

After having our breakfast and done some shopping we headed home. We bought some fried “LIN KOA” and cokodok (smashed banana mixed with flour) as our afternoon tea break cos we just had our heavy breakfast while ago. After having the tea break, I will put Xuan for his afternoon nap cos I am sleepy too.

I help Xuan change to HAPPY LITTLE COW for his afternoon nap. This pair of clothing is my hubby favorite and so am I. The material is soft, comfortable too and moreover the color combinations are good too.

We are heading to KL for collecting my bag that I sent for repairing. Since I don’t get the chance to snap Xuan picture at home, so I never miss an opportunity to snap in the car. I will ask him some task.

Myself : Darling, show mummy how to smile?
Xuan : Eehhh…

Myself : Show me your teeth.
Xuan : Arrr (open his mouth big big)
Myself : No, not like this… mummy can’t see your teeth teeth leh…
Xuan : Eehhhh….

Actually is time for him to take his morning nap after having his bath. But too bad, we are going out. We also wish to go out after his morning nap but we are afraid there is no parking in the afternoon. Those are his sleepy look with this pacifier!

I have been considering whether to make one photobook for Xuan. It so happened Photobook Malaysia is having a Mother’s Day promotion with 30% discount. After a long consideration, I make up my mind to make one for Xuan on his FIRST YEAR. I sent in for printing on May 30.Finally, Xuan’s A4 landscape photobook arrived from Photobook Malaysia. It was delivered with a nice protective box. I can’t wait to touch and feel it. The printing and the paper quality are good too. Only one word can be described EXCELLENT! I found some of the picture is not so clear just because at that time all the pictures were taken with my phone camera; but I have no regrets. Maybe I will send in more for printing in the near future. As you gals know that I am a good photographer, hahaha…. Xuan really have lots of pictures. To date, I think he has more than 1000 pieces (since his birth till now).

Today we are heading to visit my mum at my second sis’s house in Batu Caves cos she has gone back to her in-law’s house in Teluk Intan. We fetch my eldest sister along. When Xuan saw my eldest sister, he is not friendly at all cos he never see her for quite sometime. He showed his sour face and stared at my sister. My eldest sister is trying to play with him by tickling his little feet but he doesn’t give any response and smile at all. When my eldest sister about to go down from the car, he want her carry and out of a sudden he turns back with a crying face looking for me to carry him. He’s a bit reluctant to come down when we are in the house. He is acting like an ELEPHANT SUPER GLUE stick to me, not even a move I can make without him.
After a while, he seems to OK with the environment and willing to play with my eldest sister. You can see from the picture how happy he was. He really laughs and laughs without stop. In the end, he even asks my eldest sister to play the ball with him while we were at the kitchen doing some cleaning.
