Today, we bring Xuan for a haircut again. I think he needs a haircut every month same like his daddy. This time I let him sit on his own. I only hold on his face in order for him not to turn here and there. He is very co-operative of course must trick him with some ribena sweets. I will give him 9/10, hopefully he will improve on his next visit!

In the evening we go back to my mother-in-law house for the moon cake festival reunion dinner. This was his first time playing with the candles.

For the past two days my mood is not so good and bad temper towards my little boy. He is so demanding and cranky too. While I am folding the clothes, he took one piece and swing it and accidentally hit my face. Since he doesn’t mean it, I just ask him not to swing the baju. He still continue it and it hit me again, I shouted at him. He showed me his froggy face (controlling his tears) and I told him you better stop and sit there with my unpleasant tone. His tears start falling down and crying pitifully by coming towards me to hug him. Of course when I see this situation I will hug and aplogise to him by saying next time you cannot do this. Of course he will nod his head. When I think of it, why must I apologise to him since he is doing wrong.

Today, I was having a gathering with my school friends at Mid Valley. A friend from Ireland came back for holiday with her daughter. I never tag my little boy again for this gathering cos I feel it is very troublesome. Some of them brought theirs kids along and at that moment I feel gulity, regret and think, why don’t I bring him along since some of them haven’t meet him too and at the same time, there are some many Kor Kor and Jie Jie to play with. What can I do since it is past! I promise myself that I will tag him along in the next coming Raya’s gathering!

After shopping at Sunway Pyramid and back home, I manage to get my hubby help for snapping these pictures with my little boy. This time, my hubby is very co-operative since I grumble him on the camera issue and of course my little boy is extremely co-operative this time.

I also managed to snap some of his topless pictures. I took off his shirt and pant because is time for him to “pom pom”. He is so excited by walking here and there and I will never miss the opprotunity to snap him topless!

As the babysitter told me that she has been potty trained Xuan for the past 2 weeks. She will put on the diapers for him during naptime and other than that he is on his pants only. Whenever he wants to pee, he will run to her by telling that he wants “Zi Zi”.

In the late evening after having our dinner, we visit my mother-in-law. Xuan is so energetic, he is running here and there and playing all by himself cos her sister and brother has gone for holiday. He likes to jump from the room doorstep to the living room, when my mother-in-law makes some act, he will laugh happily.

I think is time for me to bring him to toilet for “Zi Zi”. I really feel so happy that I managed to potty him cos this is my first time train him. When reach home, he pee out cos we are not fast enough to bring him to the toilet. Anyway, I am grateful that he is co-operative with us in this potty training matter!

I like to put on this baju for my little boy, which is from Pigeon. As I mentioned in my previous post that I like Pigeon brand very much due to the quality. Their sizes are mostly from newborn to 18 months. At the moment the baju still can fit him quite ok but the pants is a bit short. It means that my little boy is growing each passing day!

It has been quite sometime that I never have a good opportunity to take picture with my little boy unless my hubby is willing to do so. I sometime feel very bored by asking him to snap my picture together with my little boy cos he is not patient enough. As you gals know, snapping a perfect picture is not as easy as ABC. Sometime I need to flare-up in order for him to help me. I will say this to him “What the purpose for getting a camera if you don’t utilize it always?”

I found that my little boy is a loving boy. Why do I say that? When we are coughing/sneezing, he will come over to us and pat us on our chest and he will bring us water on the side table for us too. One incident, he really upset cos I never drink the water and putting it back on the table. He’s a bit fussy and cry. So, from that incident, I will drink it whether I am coughing or sneezing.

I bought this Do Do Ladybug toy for him since last year. He started to show interest with it 1 month back. He will hug and kiss it. Sometime, when he refuse to come over to me, I will trick him by kissing it and he will come over immeditely for me to kiss him. Of course, he will get jealous by throwing it away. I really like the way he hug and kiss the toy!

How time flies, my little boy is 21 months. I noticed that he knows quite a number of words and understand my instructions very well too (the most important… hahaha).

Some updates on his development.

* He knows how to call me Mummy or Me Me very clearly after a long wait.
* He will tell me “Bor Bor” when the show ends.
* When I tell him “wash your buttock” (in hokkien), he will squat down immediately.
* He will hug and kiss us whenever ask him to do so. Sometime he will kiss us without asking! It really melts our hearts.
* Will ask for his “Kut Kut” (water).
* He will bring his writing board to me and ask me to draw an Apple and Ball for him.
* He has good eyesight.

I have been trying to wean off Xuan milk intake during nighttime. For the past 2 nights, Xuan does not wake up for his milk in the middle of the night.

Before putting him to sleep, he will asks for his milk and I have had some conversation with him.

Myself : Darling, you must finish your “nen nen” huh?
Xuan : He nod his head.
Myself : Then you cannot wake up at night for your “nen nen”
Xuan : He nod his head again and drank his milk.
Myself : You are a big boy now, so you don’t have to take your “nen nen” at night so mummy can sleep throughout the entire night cos mummy need to work the next day, ok, ok?
Xuan : He nod his head again and again.

I was so happy and thought that Xuan will not take his milk during night time. But on Sunday mid-night, he's making noise. I just ignored him and continue with my sleep hoping that he will be quiet after a while without answering him.

He keeps on calling me “Meme” and I feel I am so blessed cos I attended to him and only found out that he is having fever. I took his temperature, which is 38°C, and his whole body is so hot. I feel so scared at that moment and blaming myself for not attending him earlier. I feed him with his fever medication and allowing him to sleep with us.

As I mentioned in my earlier post that I never take pictures of my little boy for quite some time due to no mood and the lazinness worm is attackign me. As you know, it is very difficult to snap a picture of growing up toddler cos they won't sit or stand still waiting for you to take their pictures. But, anyhow I managed to snap some of his shots by bribing him my handphone.

It's quite sometime that I never snap pictures of my little boy because I am lazy. Today, I have the mood to snap cos he's wearing this set of baju that I think it is quite cute. The baju fit him nicely. So, I quickly grab the camera and try to snap his pictures as fast as I can but he isn't cooperative as I wish. He wants the camera and I have to trick him by giving him my handphone and asking him to take my pictures as well.
